I did the math for an 11,000 dollar loan at 6.6%. It's $162.86 for seventy-two months. The first offer was 198 which I rejected. Then it came as $187 which I again rejected. We settled on $180, which was still questionable, but because it was my daughter's car, I agreed. If it were for me, I'd have walked. I have done this too many times to play the back and forth game so I went directly to the general manager. I am satisfied, but you will recognize that you still got a lot of food on your plate. Nick, the salesperson, was outstanding.

My 2023 chevrolet pick up died on my way to Portland, I called a tow truck, they took me back to Gilchrist Chevrolet, where they were able to fix the fuel pump module the next day. I was very satisfied (not that it quit with less than 5,000 miles on it), but their response. Especially kind and helpful during the entire process was Tina Geery, Service Advisor, who helped me during the entire time, even following through with Chevrolet reimbursing me for additional towing expenses. My wife & I were fortunate to have walked into Gilchrist Chevrolet in Port Orchard WA as we were shopping for a new EV and had Sales Consultant, Nick Carlson, provide us with a fantastic sales experience. In that this was our first EV, it took significant time and patience on Nick's part to help educate us as to to this new technology. He never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable and appreciated his friendly and sincere nature. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and his customer service skills were overall excellent. He also has made follow up calls to check on how we are doing with the car in that it needs to go back due to issues with the paint. There is a blemish on the hood and the entire car has to be totally gone over due to some type of grit or pollen in the surface. We would highly recommend others see Nick for their car buying needs.

My wife and I purchased our new Equinox from Gilchrist on June 19th. There was some rough residue on the entirety of the paints surface and a blemish on the hood. I insisted this be taken care of. I was told to bring it back in on June 30th and they would buff the entire car and remove the residue and take care of the blemishes. I then took the car in 11 days later and had this done. Gilchrist worked on it for 6 hours and gave me transportation home and picked me up. It appeared to be fine until I looked at it more closely at it in our garage under florescent lights when I returned home and could see that scratches had been put into the area behind the back passenger door. The car is black and it is difficult to see in the bright sun. I called Gilchrist and let them know of this issue. Was told to bring it back the following morning. I returned the car on July 3rd. I waited for the car for approx. an hour and a half and was told the scratches were then fixed. I tried to see them in the sun prior to leaving but it was difficult. Upon arriving home and putting the car in the garage, I again looked at the car and saw the scratches had not been repaired. This was getting a bit ridiculous! I called to speak with the manager but was diverted to the Service Dept. and spoke with Troy. I expressed my utter frustration over this situation in that the scratches they put in the car are still there and that they need to be repaired. He told me to bring the car in on Monday, July 7th. I brought the car in once again on the 7th and waited another hour or two. Troy came in and told me he felt like they finally took care of it. He had me look at the car in the shop. There was improvement but the scratches are still visible. I reluctantly took the car home in that I was frustrated and I was done dealing with the problem. I am still not satisfied with the issue being resolved.

After 3 months of waiting for a valve body, I had to pay for new batteries. My truck sat for 3 months in their lot. When I arrived to pick it up, the truck was covered in spider webs and covered in dust. After unsuccessful tries to start my truck via remote, I started it from the push button in the truck only to find the check engine light was on. Found out it was a result of the battery replacement. Brings to question wether they conducted a test.drive at all.

My husband took our vehicle to your dealership on Monday, 10/06/2025. We were having a problem with the car not wanting to start after we put gas in it. He talked to someone, I assume in the service department, about it. He was told that it can be a common problem with the Chevy Trax. He was told that it would be no problem; bring it in on 10/08/2025 @ 9 am and it could be fixed. He took the vehicle in at that time. Not only was nothing done to resolve the issue; he was there for almost 2.5 hours and charged $224.07 for diagnosis. My husband also asked the oil life light be turned off. He did a complete oil change on the vehicle. This was not done. *****This actually was done. According to the diagnostic report; the vehicle needs two parts replaced. My husband was given a bill for $201.42 for those two parts and was told it would take a few days to get them in. First off the $201.42 is an extremely overrated charge for those two parts as you can see in the attachment with this email. Plus these parts were not "special order parts" because I got a message on my cell phone stating that parts were ready for me to pick up. That was on 10/08/2025 @ 11:37 am. My husband had not even gotten back home from your dealership yet. We no longer wish to purchase these parts from Gilchrist Parts Center; so we are asking that my husband's debit card be refunded the charges for these two parts. Thank you, Jacquelyn Cole

I came in for a routine lube &oil and to report for the first time i saw a significant consumption of oil since last change. Port Orchard Gilchrist Chev has performed all my oil changes per mileage recommendations. All within the mileage. I am concerned about the oil loss. I was told that we had to document at the dealership when ever there was a drop in oil level. I live an hour away from the dealership. This is an inconvenience to me. There is a prominent vehicle shop in Hansville called Hansville motors. I am requesting they document this problem. Being told I have to have 12 reports of loss of oil is a huge task if I have to drive one hour each way. Please respond in writing to me soon please.
