Our Lifetime Oil Change Policy
Gilchrist Lifetime Advantage Program is open to new vehicle purchases and all General Motors pre-owned vehicles that are current year or the past 2 model years. Program is open to any licensed driver with a valid email address within the USA. Eligibility is limited to the Original Purchaser of the vehicle only and is non-transferable.
Lube, Oil, & Filter changes will be performed according to GM Maintenance Schedule as outlined in vehicle owners manual, in accordance with GM OLM (Oil Life Motor System) with a maximum of two oil changes per 12 month period.
Fleet purchases are not eligible for Gilchrist Lifetime Advantage Program, but will be priced at a special discounted price at the time of service. All members must enroll in Dealer Maintenance Notifications at time of purchase by providing an email address. Member is responsible for contacting Dealer of any changes.
Gilchrist Lifetime Advantage Program will not allow any cash values for any elements of their program. Any unused elements of the program will not be reimbursed to plan holder at any time. Retroactive credit will not be given for services performed prior to enrollment.
Dealer reserves the right to cancel membership after 12 months of non-use by member.
Dealer reserves the right to modify or change program rules, benefits, regulations, conditions of participation, in whole or in part at any time without notice. Dealer has the right to terminate the Gilchrist Lifetime Advantage Program at any time.
Rental Vehicle Policy
Here at Gilchrist Chevrolet of Port Orchard we have rental vehicles that are available to all customers that have a vehicle in our service department. Rental vehicles may be available last minute, however, it is recommended to request one when scheduling an appointment. We require a credit card be left on file, a copy of a valid driver's license, and a copy of a valid auto insurance card. The insured driver must have insurance coverage including collision and comprehensive coverage. Vehicle must be returned during service hours or you may be subject to pay for a second day. Please contact our service department for full details and eligibility regarding rental vehicles. Our rental vehicle rate is $38 per day.
Courtesy Transportation Vehicle Policy
Courtesy transportation vehicles (CTP) may be available at no cost for mechanical repairs if your vehicle is still covered under warranty. Some recalls over one hour may be covered as well. If your vehicle has a recall and you would like a courtesy transportation vehicle, please call to confirm the recall is eligible for CTP allowance. We require a credit card be left on file, a copy of a valid driver's license, and a copy of a valid auto insurance card. The insured driver must have insurance coverage including collision and comprehensive coverage. To learn more about your vehicles coverage please contact dealer, visit the Owner Center for your brand online, or refer to your owners manual. Several transportation options are available. Please contact our service department for full details and eligibility regarding rental vehicles.

Chevrolet: https://www.chevrolet.com/owners/warranty Courtesy Transportation is included for 5 years/60,000 miles (whichever comes first). If your vehicle requires warranty repairs during the course of your vehicle’s Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty, Limited Powertrain, and/or hybrid-specific warranty, alternate transportation and/or reimbursement of certain transportation expenses may be available under the CTP Program.
